True Image 2016+NMVe+Win 7 Pro

Thread needs solution

Does this version of True Image work with NMVe and Win7 Pro. I did some googling and see it works with Win 10 but wasn't sure if it worked with Win 7 since Win 7 doesn't have NVMe drivers on OS install disc and required an extra step since Win 7 doesn't have native NVMe drivers

ATI 2016 should work with NVMe drives provided the necessary device drivers are present or have been injected into the Acronis Rescue media for such support.

See MS webpage:

Update to add native driver support in NVM Express in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

which describes the extra support needed for Windows 7.

See also Intel webpage:

How to Install Microsoft Windows* 7 on a PCIe* NVMe Intel® SSD

which shows one approach if a new install of Windows 7 was being done, as an example.

The MVP Custom ATIPE Builder script can help you inject such extra drivers to your WinPE Acronis Rescue Media but this will also require that you have the Windows ADK installed, where this can be the Windows 10 ADK which works with Windows 7.
