How well does ATI perform with solid state drives?

Thread needs solution

Currently running Win7 Pro 64-bit with ATI Home 2010 version - no problems thus far *knock on wood*. Sometime later this year, I plan on upgrading my SATA hard drive to a SSD.

Question: How well does Home 2010 version perform with SSD? I would appreciate some comments from users who have some experience with this. Thanks.

Home 2010 will correctly back up a ssd but you should back up the entire ssd and not just the OS partition.

Just a heads up but if your intention is to use an image from your mechanical hdd for your ssd then be aware that the alignment on the ssd will be incorrect.

Since almost 1 year ago I installed W-7 with a Corsair-X 256 SSD and run Acronis 10 (now 11) without a problem. In the meantime I had to restore the full system 3 times, again without a problem. Initial backup 120 GB to a WD2001FASS (2 GB) takes around 13 minutes, incr backups around 2 minutes (1-2 GB)
