Nonstop recovery failure

Hard drive crashed tried to restore C drive with recovery explorer. All it did was partially format (from the best that I can tell) and then failed restoring. I still have the nonstop backup folder. Can I recover all of these lost files from the nonstop folder, or is all of my data lost?
