Calendar in Acronis 10 always indicates backup failure

Thread needs solution

running win 7 ult, intel I7 940, 12G RAM, 3T drive space and external 2T drive and acronis 10. Backups are split into two seperate BUs System/programs and a Data BU run on alternate days @3:00a to the external dr. The calendar in Tasks & Logs always indicates failure (a red square), but the BU log says "Successful" and appears to be alright on the Drive. Backups are set to whole disks, incremental with consolidation set to 7, verification is on. I have 3 profiles, 2 user and one admin. It doesn't seem to make a difference which profile is active when the backup runs. Have used the Data BU to a different drive and it works fine. Please explain the red failure indication.
