Thanks for your comment. But I suppose that Custom ATIPE Builder creates an ISO-image.
I will repeat my problem now. I have an USB-disk with a survival kit (for booting) and several backups. At a later time I have downloaded and installed Acronis Universal Restore (AUR). Now I wish to actualize the survival kit with AUR also, so that the USB-disk is containing the survival kit, AUR and the Backups. My question is: how to actualize the survival kit with AUR ?

Siegfried, the MVP Custom builder can create an ISO, write a CD or DVD or create a USB media.
My own USB external drive has the MVP version of the Rescue Media on it in place of the default Acronis Survival Kit version.
To do this, all you need do is to assign a drive letter to the 2GB FAT32 partition on the USB drive, then run the MVP builder and when asked for the drive letter of the USB device, give it the drive letter for the 2GB FAT32 partition on the drive. The FAT32 partition will be formatted and then the enhanced rescue media written to it, including ATI and AUR etc.

Hello Steve,
My USB-drive has NTFS and 900 GB memory.
Does the 2GB FAT32 partition already need to be present or is it created by the MVP Custom builder ?
If the partition is created: do the other data including the backups remain ?
what will happen to the existing survival kit ?
Greetings from Siegfried

Siegfried, if you have already used the option to create the Survival Kit on your USB drive, then as mentioned above, if you allocate a drive letter to the Survival Kit 2GB FAT32 partition, the MVP tool will reuse the partition. The existing Survival Kit, if present, will be wiped and overwritten by the MVP version of the rescue media.
If your drive does not have the Survival Kit, then you would need to use a partition tool such as the excellent free MiniTool Partition Wizard software to create a 2GB FAT32 partition at the start of the drive space. The MVP tool does not create this partition but expects just to be given a drive letter to write to for the USB stick or device.
There is no need to lose any data from your USB drive so long as you have sufficient free space to allow the new partition to be created, which shouldn't be an issue if you are going to use the drive to store your backup images.
