Clean W10 install, how to save acronis backup plan

Thread needs solution

I need to clean install Windows10 on my pc that is currently running acronis true image 2017.  I imagine the installation will wipe out acronis.  I know how to re-install and re-license acronis but how do I save the backup-configuration.  Some of the pre&post-command settings are intricate.

I forget if it's available in 2017 or not, but the latest 2018 and 2019 versions have an option to save settings.

If it's not available, then, as long as you have a backup of your current OS hard drive.  After you install Acronis again, you should be able to disable the Acronis services in computer management and then replace the following folders with the data from a current backup.

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackup

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

The scripts folder will be your backup jobs you see in the console, but you'll still have to pick the source and destination again.

The OnlineBackup is any online backup jobs you have in addition to the scripts

The database is essentially the history and inner workings of all the configs and history of backups you've done.

Thank you,

2017 doesn't have the backup settings transfer option so I will backup & restore the listed files.  Will report back on how it all goes.

Again, Thanks
