I've never used True Image, but I want to purchase a copy to service the family and business computers. I want to use the product to do what I need on any given machine, then uninstall it when I'm done. I want to install it and uninstall on an as-needed basis, to whatever machine I happen to be working on at the time. Most of the time, it won't be installed in anything, but never installed on more than one machine at a time.

In other words, is the single, True Image Home license tied to me, or the machine? Is my intended use acceptable under the TOS?

You need to have a license for each computer on which TI will be used. This is the case even if TI isn't installed.

For any other use, you would need to contact Acronis directly and see if they would work out something for you.
