Restoring dual-boot partitions
My laptop dual boots between Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.
As well as those 2 system partitions, I have a 3rd partition for data (for access by both systems and to avoid data loss due to system loss).
My laptop is in the process of being repaired by the manufacturer, during the course of which the disc will be reformatted, with only 1 partition.
Prior to sending the laptop for repair, I backed up each of the 3 partitions with True Image Home 2011.
My questions is, when I come to re-install (using Acronis), will I need to first re-create the 3 partitions on the disc before restoring, or will the restore process automatically re-create the disc partitions as backed up?
Thanks in anticipation of any responses.

Thanks for that MudCrab.
I assume you mean delete the entire (single) partition created by the manufacturer, and that Acronis will then create the restore partition within the "unallocated" space left after deleting the entire partition?

That's correct. However, most laptops have multiple partitions when new/reset (utilities, restore partition, Windows, etc.).
