Program not responding
Installed Acronis True Image 11 on Windows 7 and when trying to make changes to taks the program locks up.

I have this problem with True Image Home 2011 build 8082.
The latest message I can read in Acronis registry is "Locking C: partition..." then the program and the operating system (Windows 7 64 bit Professional) hangs and I'm forced to manually switch off the notebook keeping the physical power button pressed.
I tried also repairing TIH installation (with no problem) but that was not the solution.
Any suggestions?

Greg, I'm sorry to inform you that Acronis True Image Home 11 doesn't support Windows 7, and shouldn't work on this OS at all.
Gabriele, the product hangs on the moment of accessing the drives. It's related to the SnapAPI drivers glitch, and can be resolved by the SnapAPI update. I will send you the link to the update in a minute. Please run it on the problem machine, and check whether the issue remains.
Should it remain, please gather Acronis Info and contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Thanks for your reply, but I have to apologize with you, because I referred about a wrong version of TIH.
I wasn't using version 2011, but version 11 :-(
When I noticed it I uninstalled it and bought version 2011.
It installed correctly and I was able to complete a backup of my notebook.
