Two ATI 2011 questions...

Thread needs solution

Greetings...
Question 1 -- Is ATI2011 able to send email notification when run by way of windows task scheduler?? As far as I know that was never resolved in ATI2010, although it was an acknowledged problem and caused me some inconvenience. I find several posts here about ATI2011's e-mail notification troubles, but found no mention of the failure to send under windows task scheduler. That would be my prime reason to go to 2011, if no longer a problem!!

Question 2 -- An email yesterday from Acronis offers, as I interpret it, two additional copies for $5 more with a purchase of 2011.
This is a paragraph from that email:

Quote
"From now on and until December 25th, 2010 you can
upgrade from an earlier version of Acronis True Image
Home and get two additional copies of Acronis True
Image Home 2011 for only $5 more when you make
the purchase from this email offer.
It's just in time for holiday giving!"
end of quote

my question is are all three copies of the program under the same license registration number, or is each registered separately? Having two computers myself, I would use ONE of the three on my son's computer -- OR would that be a violation of the license agreement??

Thanks for comments on either question above.

Hello Robert,

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to assist you.

To answer your first question, I have carefully checked our internal database and did not find any known issues with sending e-mail notifications by ways of Windows task scheduler. However, before making the purchase I would recommend downloading the trial version to check how it runs on your machine and see if there are any incompatibilities. For trial installation instructions please check this KB article.

To answer your second question, the three copies of the program have different licenses and can be used on three computer. You can check our EULA here for more information.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
