Clicking on the Recovery tab causes a prompt for an old NAS connection

Thread solved

When I click on the Recovery tab for an active backup on one of my Win10 comps, I am shown an Authentications Settings dialog for an old NAS connection, as shown in the first attachment. As this NAS no longer exists, I have to answer Cancel, and ATI sets the Backup tab as active. If I add the backup using the "Add existing backup" option, the Recovery tab is displayed as expected.

This Win10 comp was upgraded from ATI 2019 (and previous versions) and was affected by the loss of settings problem, as were the other comps. See - https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2020-forum/true-imag….

I can see the old NAS details under Connections in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\Connections\smb). Is it simply a matter of deleting this entry and restarting ATI?

Versions:
Win10 1903
ATI 2020 22510

Yes, deleting the SMB entry for the old NAS in the registry will remove the authentication prompt.

Thanks.

I had to Change Destination before the prompt for the old NAS went away.

Unfortunately I now have the same problem with this comp as I reported in https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2020-forum/backup-po…, sigh!

2020 does not seem to have had a happy start.
