Validation starts after windows load on startup

Thread needs solution

For some unknown reason,on ocassion and seemingly randomly, TI wll start a validation when I start my PC / after/during windows load .
My only intervention seems to be the normal.....boot the PC and login.
I have no scheduled job to do so that I can determine.

Did you verify that you have not checked the option to run missed validations on startup?
Backup options > Validation > Schedule/turn on regular validation > Advanced settings

Also, have you checked your task validation settings to see if the monthly setting is in effect and that time has arrived for a monthly validation check?

Also, check the log file using the time and date the attempted validation is occuring. Note the script id of that particular log file. Is the script id being used one of your normal backup scripts? Perhaps the script being exercised for the validation attempt is not one of your regular scripts.

Every time I go in to check the disk backup options, that settings gets reset .... it won't stay off even when I click DO NOT SCHEDULE and when I set is as the default setting.
Can I only select those options thru the BACKUP PARTION selection.

I always returns to ONCE A MONTH with the startup option checked off when I click the link.

OK, I changed them under MORE OPTIONS for each set .... that setting seems to hold.

Thankyou.
