Why do I have two files?

Thread needs solution

I just did a version update of TI2020 on Win10. I did a backup of my C: drive. It was an update with a single version scheme, no schedule.

I ended up with two files, Backup Name.tibx and Backup Name-0001.tibx. They both have the same date and time, the first is only 12KB the second is 82,000,000KB.

I usually only have one file. What happened? Is this something new?

Dave, with the .tibx format, what you are seeing is correct. DO NOT delete the 12KB file. It is used for meta data and must be there. The next time you create a backup, you will get a -0002.tibx file, the -0001.tibx file will be removed but the 12KB file will still be there.

Not to worry.
