ATI 2020 - restore point "calendar" is confusing

Thread needs solution

Suggestion Box: I'm in the process for using ATI 2020 for the first time to restore an entire drive from the new tibx. The procedure is pretty much the same as with prior versions, with one addition I don't care for. After selecting the timestamped archive from the list of incremental archives, then right-clicking and selecting "Restore" (followed by the usual selection of target partitions, etc.), it brings up a calendar with several consecutive days highlight in green in a left-panel, and a time (10:00PM) in the right panel and it asks you to select a date and time for the restore.

Issue #1: I already selected a date from the list of archives and selected "Restore" on that archive. Why is it asking me again? It makes me think I did something wrong with my initial selection. Did I pick the right archive?

Issue #2: Clicking on one of the green highlighted dates does nothing. The color doesn't change; there is no visible feedback that you've picked a particular date. Did I select the right one? Is it really even giving me a choice?

Issue #2: There is only one timestamp in the right-pane, but nothing happens until you click on it. I suppose if someone ran multiple backups per day there would be additional timestamps. This 3rd issue is is minor, easy enough to figure out.

ATI is a great product I've been using in a office setting for over 10 years, and I've rarely had any problems restoring. But I've always struggled with the un-intuitive user interface, which has improved only slightly over the years.

Hello Tech OHPRS,

thank you for sharing your experience with the recovery wizard! Documented your feedback in TI-204830 [UI] Recovery wizard improvements. Thank you!

I think the application is simply confirming to you what will be recovered.  Rewording the description would go a long way.
