Booting from Acronis CD. Now how start TrueCrypt to mount my external HDD???

Thread needs solution

I currently have three HDD's:
A: My internal laptop HDD which is breaking down.
B: A new empty laptop HDD (which is going to be the new internal)
C: An external USB HDD encrypted with TrueCrypt, containing my TrueImage image files.

I need to get the image-files from the TrueCrypted HDD onto my new (internal) laptop HDD.

My question is:
If I boot from Acronis Boot Media (CD)... how will I be able to start TrueCrypt to get the TrueCrypted external HDD mounted and to gain access to my image-files???

Danny,

You cannot. You will have to use another computer, install TrueCrypt, get your images out, and then use them for your laptop.
The only way to have a secured backup location is to create an Acronis Secure Zone. The ASZ can be accessed by the CD.
Another simpler way to protect your backups is to use a password on your archive files. 2011 supports AES encryption of the TIB files.
