Snapman BSOD

Thread needs solution

Each time I connect my Blackberry to my Windows 7 SP1 PC via USB I get a BSOD related to snapman.sys.

I’ve followed the advice in “1620: Removing Acronis SnapAPI Drivers”, and this works until I boot by PC again. I then get a start-up failure, which Windows fixes, but by returning Windows to a position prior to my registry edits.
I have Acronis True Image Home Build 5021.

Any help much appreciated
Nigel

If it fails on boot, it means that it's not removed properly - it's left in CurrentControlSet\Services and/or filters. Did you try to update to the latest update (7160 for English build) ?

I applied the file SnapAPI.503_s_e_ after reading another post, and that seems to have resolved my issues. Thanks, Nigel
