ISSUE - Email notifications via Acronis account will not work
Problem: Acronis 2020 b22510
Email notifications will not be sent, as setup in Acronis Account.
This is not about email notifications set up in the job options.
I have tested this with 2 different Acronis accounts and different computers, different reciepient addresses.
Expected behaviour:
Emails should be sent as setup in the could account.

Hello Steve,
thanks for your reply. So you are saying that if I setup email notifications in a job this will be the same behaviour?
My report is only for email notifications via the account not the job ones.
Has there been any reply from Ekaterina about the emailing issues? The problem is that I really need them, a crucial backup job went havoc and no one noticed this since November.

Karl, I raised this issue along with other issues I have with not getting any notifications from the forums or for private messages etc with Renata & Ekaterina before Christmas, but apart from getting an initial flurry of marketing type mails, nothing has changed!
I have all my tasks setup using the Notifications page option using a Gmail account just for that one purpose, and that has been working just fine for some years now (apart from during the Dashboard server debacle when all my settings were lost along with many other users!).
The Notifications emails can include a lot more information than those from the cloud servers but this can be controlled within the settings.

Hi everyone, this problem is still under investigations.
Tatiana Gavrilova did a great job connecting my concerns and report to the developers. At the moment they managed to fix this problem for my account with a caveat.
If the computers do troubles to report their status to the dashboard, as reported here https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2020-forum/issue-das…
then there will be still no email notifications. If they report correctly then everything is fixed. But only for this account.
The stated workaround does not work (changing the notification email in the Acronis account to something other, save, changing the notification email in the account another time).
I am still working with Acronis in ticket 04280340 to solve this for everyone, without the need of clean / reinstalling ATIH 2020.
If you are affected by this problem, I would be happy if you can report in aswell, referencing to this ticket.

Hi Karl
I am having a similar problem. It is only one of my PCs, all the others for the account are generating emails.
Just checked and according to the dashboard the PC is off line - it has been online continuously for at least 3 hours. So the problem seems to be similar to the one you have reported.

I do not get any emails via the Dashboard for any PC's and haven't done so since the Dashboard fiasco last year when this caused all settings to be as default! I removed most PC's from the Dashboard at that time and am not willing to reinstall ATI to get them back again.

Hey Karl,
Were you ever able to resolve the issue?

You could try (i) saving settings, (ii) uninstalling ATI, then (iii) run the clean-up tool: 48668: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Acronis True Image: Cleanup Utility. The reboot and reinstall ATI, then restore settings. The only issue with this is that ATI scans and add all backups and even after restoring backup tasks the one found by the scan are still there. This has been fixed in the current beta of ACHO.
