Unable to merge partitions

I am struggling to merge partitions.
When I attempt to merge partitions Acronis asks me to choose shich two partitions I would like to merge, but only allows me to put a tick in one.
If I only tick one all the options (OK etc) are greyed out.

I am using the trial version. Server 2009 (32 bit)

You can't merge partitions that exist on separate drives. The partitions have to be on the same drive. Also, I don't recommend using the Merge feature since it can cause data loss if it fails. Make sure to create an Entire Disk Image backup first, just in case.
