Non Stop Configuration - Destination Drive Cannot be Assigned

Thread needs solution

After specifying the Partitions to be backed up, the program seems to be hung up on estimating the backup space required and does not have a Default drive specified nor does it allow the user to specify the drive or browse for the backup drive of choice. I have the Configuration process running presently for over two hours. Is this normal run time for the process?

I have the same problem.
I just made a clean install Seven Home Premium 64bits. ATI 2011 Build 6696
Was running fine on the same machine on XP 32bits with the same build (6696).
The problem also occurs if I want to configure a classical file backup.
It only show C:Users/myname/My documents.

Only the partition backup works right now.

No this is not normal. Relaunch the installer, choose repair install. See if this fixes the problem.

John, verify that all your disk are basic disks (no software RAID, no dynamic disk)
