Acronis Chat Service (arrgh) - Question about naming of TIB files.

Thread needs solution

This is painful. I had/have a question about naming of the TIB file not based on the name I gave the backup / setting the name of the tib file.

It has taken 15 minutes so far in chat, and we have managed to establish that it is possible to give my backup a name.

Another 5 minutes pass, and I am pointed at a KB article that tells me how to do, what I already explained I did in my original support question when starting chat. That is give my backup a name.

Another 5 minutes pass, and I am told NOW that I can see the name once I open the .TIB file. Which isn't what I asked. Not sure I can afford another 15 minutes or so to drag the information I am after from this individual.

Oh wait, I am now being told the product is designed that way.

So I still don't really have an answer. Ah never mind.

Q. Is it possible to specify the name of the .TIB file for a Disk and partition backup?

I used to be able to do this in earlier versions of ATIH, I would be surprised if I could no longer do this. I would like to know at a glance when browsing my file system, what a particular .tib file is related to. Is my only option to use named folders?

Teach me for using chat as a shortcut to an answer instead of searching the KB.

At least both I and the support engineer hopefully learned something.
