Win 7 integration

Thread needs solution

I downloaded Acronis True Image and the plus pack with Vista. I then upgraded to Win 7. Acronis forum did suggest a fix when I requested help to get Win 7 to recognize that backup was being done. I needed to have the install programs in the download file which I had long deleted. I was, per recommendation, able without a problem to download them again recently -- build 6857 -- and after a few problems initiating the re-install the menu the choice of repair or modify appeared and as I was told I clicked on repair and the program re-installed exactly as stated. The point of all this ongoing effort by myself and those offering help was to get Win 7 to recognize that files were being backed up. After the re boot error msg flag still pops up saying files are not being backed up.
What else is there to do?
Thanks for the consistent/persistant help.

John,

If you refer to Win7's action center flag in the notification area, you have to realize this flag is only for Win7 backup, not for ATI.
To turn off this alert, turn off notifications from Windows Backup as described below:

The ATI integration with Win7 doesn't change how the action center flag behaves. What it does is that it replaces the UI of the Win7 backup with the backup list from ATI. If I were you, I would not turn this feature on, and I would leave the standard Win7 control panel interface.
