McAfee and Acronis Conflict?

Is there a conflict between Acronis True Image Home and McAfee firewall?

My Nonstop Backup feature doesn’t work. As soon as I turn it on it pauses and never starts. If I restart my PC, it will come one briefly while the PC is booting but pauses again within 5 seconds.

When I manually open the Acronis ap it will not open without McAfee stopping it and asking for my permission to do so. I have check “Always Allow” in the firewall setting but this doesn’t seem to solve the problem.

Since McAfee stops Acronis from opening without my permission I wondered if it was interfering with Nonstop Backup since it hasn’t backed up any files; it shows 0.0GB.

Has anyone had this problem? I’ve read the info on “Nonstop Backup” that say it is programed to pause for reasons that I still can’t figure out how to correct.

The issue looks to be related to the McAfee settings. Please try adding Acronis software to it according to the instructions in the attached *.pdf file, it should solve the issue.
