Scheduler failed after MS security updates this week
It would appear that the large security update by MS has somehow messed up TI backup schedule. The scheduler has worked like clockwork for months without issue and yet straight after the MS updates the next scheduled event failed on two of my PC's with errors. The only way I could resolve the issue was to uninstall and re-install Acronis 2009 again. Following the procedure everything is now back to normal. Anyone else found this to be an issue?

Most probably Acronis Scheduler2 Service was stopped after installing MS update. In future make sure that Acronis Scheduler2 Service (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services) Startup Type is set to Automatic. Otherwise, please set it to Automatic yourself and reboot your computer.
