Uninstall ATIH 2012
Hi Folks, I upgraded to ATIH 2012, and found performance much slower than 2011, was willing to accept that. I then tried to generate a bootable 1gig thumb drive, the same one I used for ATIH
2010 & 2011. The msg I got was not enough space on the drive, so I tried an 8gig drive got the same msg, I then tried a 64gig drive, got the same msg. Somewhat frustrated I decided uninstall and
reinstall. After the uninstall my computer would not boot, I had a backup, but I had formatted my thumb
drive for the upgrade, that's another story. Anyway got the system backup tried to reinstall 2012 and got a generated txt msg this is attached. I then gave up and decided to reinstall ATIH 2011, attached
find the log of that failed attempt. I've sent a couple emails to support have not yet heard back.
I am reluctant to try chat, as my typing is so slow the techs usually terminate the connection before I
finish what I'm trying communicate.
Someone please help!!!
Thanks

I might be able to do that if I can find a recent backup. Smart me as soon as I got 2012 running I generated all new backups an deleted the old ones, to save on space.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Toby2,
Is your TI2011 an upgrade version or a full?
Your don't have a 2011 Plus Pack installed by any chance?
The 2011 log file seems to think it is an upgrade, which assuming it isn't means there is some 2012 left lurking in registry.
The failure to boot after uninstalling 2012 might be due to the Snapman entry in registry not being removed, though normally I would expect a BSOD when that happens.
With the 2012 log file, I notice the serial number entry is missing and the PID key is stated as being empty and the first install fail (you have two fails) happens just after it.

Thanks for the help, but I gave up, I have just completed a reinstall of win7 and ATIH2012 seems to work.
