PC freezes when booting from recovery medium

Thread needs solution

I downloaded a trial version of TI 2012 Build 5545, installed it and created a recovery medium (Made an iso image and burnt it to CD). When starting from the medium, a splash screen, then a menu shows up, I selected to start True image. then a console opened whith a lot of lines like "Using...". Then the system freezes. The last line in the console is "using lib/modules/nfs.ko".
If I select in the menu to start the "System report", it happened the same.
I use a PC from "Dell", Model Precision t3500 with win 7 64 Bit.

Hello Martin,

I don't know if it helps you but try a Recovery Medium without acpi.
You can build a new media in Acronis and try the startup-parameter

acpi=off

Maybe it helps.

Thank you for your help, with this option, it worked. This option has no influence on creation or restoring functionality, I guess?

No, it doesn't.
