Creating Incremental Backup
I have TI Home 2011. I attempted to create an incremental backup on my system, but it apparently did a full backup instead. I selected a "custom scheme" with "Incremental" as the backup method. I am confused as to how to relate this to an existing full backup. In the previous version of TI that I used, you would select a previous full backup and then it would ask if you want to create a full or incremental. When I select a full backup file on 2011, it says "the file is currently in use" and disables the "OK" button until I enter something in the backup name box. When I do enter something (like a "-2") after the existing name, then it creates a full backup instead of an incremental. What am I missing?

I am still a little confused. Do I initially add a backup, choose the "Incremental" backup option, create a backup (which will be a "Full"), then for the next backup, click on the "Back up now" button to the right of the original backup? This then generates an "Incremental" backup to that full backup? That means I don't want to use the "Disk and partition backup" from the "Add backups" section again to create an incremental? This creates a totally new backup?

Correct.

Thanks,
We will see what happens when I try the first real incremental.
