Can't use drive C for try and decide Using Win7 64bit Home Premium and True Image Home 2011
The drive is greyed out.
Why can't I use this drive ?

Thank you for opening a thread regarding this issue, I will be glad to help.

There can be several possible reasons for the problem, the most possible is that the drive is corrupted or encrypted. Please turn off the encryption (if any), and run the Windows check disk: 

Go to Start -> Run, type there cmd and hit enter. This will get you to Windows command prompt.

In the command prompt type: 
chkdsk /f /r
and press Enter.

You will be notified that the drive is in use, and the check disk can be scheduled only to run after the next reboot. Press "Y", enter and reboot the machine.

Upon booting Windows will check the drive for consistency and fix the errors, if any.

Should the issue remain, please gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know its number.
