Why did they ruin ATI 2012? Cannot create a backup that I was able to create under 2011.

Thread needs solution

I previously had ATI2011. Successfully created an image of my system with RAID'ed SSD drives, and even an subsequent incremental, no problem.
Upgraded to 2012. It cannot see my system drive as a viable "source", even from inside windows 7 64bit.

???? I took lots of math, I do believe that 2012 is one MORE than 2011, which would lead me to believe that it would contain drivers and capabilities that 2011 did and possibly some more, thus the UPGRADE.

What happened?

I HATE the GUI in 2010. It is so non-intuitive it's painful.

Paul,

Within Windows can it see any drives?
Ditto for the recovery environment

Hello Paul and Colin,

Thank you for your posts and thank you for your help Colin.

Paul, let me provide you with additional assistance please.

It is not clear at the moment why the hard drive is not detected but I would recommend the following:

1. Please check this KB article and update Acronis low-level drivers.

2. If step one does not help, please collect this report and contact our Support team for investigation.

I am sorry for any inconvenience and if you need additional help please let me know.

Thank you.

I"ll try those steps, thanks for the quick reply. I apologize for being a little blunt in my post, I was very frustrated.....
