Recovering a File After Restore

Thread needs solution

Hi.

On Monday of last week, I created an important Excel file on the F drive of my desktop.

On Friday, due to a problem on my C drive, I restored the C drive to the most recent backup, which was the previous Sunday (1 day before I created the Excel file on the F drive).

First, what's confusing is that although I only restored the C drive and not the F drive, that important Excel file that I had on the F drive vanished. Now, I'm trying to get that file back. It seems that Acronis restored not just my C drive but my F drive as well, so that the Excel file that I created on Monday is gone.

Does this file exist anywhere on my computer that I can search?
