2012 failes to retain new backup settings
In an attempt to update the backup settings for three drives; I have made multiple attempts to use two customer schemes.
1) Master System (created for this purpose)
2) Master Data (created for this purpose)
However, every time I assign either of the schemas; Acronis fails to retain the assignment and reverts back to "Custom".
For my environment, this is inappropriate.
My current version:
Acronis 2012
Build: 5545
Running on:
Win 7 x64 w/8GB; 2.5TB total.
Thank you for any help that may be provided.

Thank you. I shall use this approach for the time being.
However, this is an obvious flaw (unable to edit previously established backup profiles). Do you know if/when this issue shall be resolved?
Thank you.

There has been this problem going back all the way to ati2009, the first version that relied on an internal database for management tasks and backup files. It is not oalways a problem to edit but it is often enough that some of advise avoiding it.

Thank you.
With a problem of this level of duration, it is obvious that other issues more critical to performing a safe backup operation takes priority.
However, as mentioned, there have been several iterations of the release and multiple builds within the product. Something as common as indicated seems capable of being reproduced in the lab, and would have some level of priority applied. Perhaps a fix that can be incorporated into subsequent releases.
While this is not critical issue, it certainly in annoying to have such a perpetual "bug" in place for a product as fine as Acronis.
Thank you again for your reply. I shall pursue the delete/rebuild of my backup profiles for the multitude of drives that are affected.
