Acronis 2011/2012 not working on Win7 x64 to Windows Home Server 2011

Thread needs solution

I cannot get either Acronis True Image Home 2011 or 2012 to backup from any PC running Win7 x64 to a shared folder on Windows Home Server 2011. The backups complete ok but when I try to validate or restore I get error - "backup corrupted".

However if I try from a PC running WinXP or Win7 x32 all backups and restore to the server work.

Similarly if I try from one PC to another, both running Win7 x64 all backups and restore functions work.

Any suggestions?

Update

I have found that removing PerfectDisk 12 Home Server from the server solves the problem.
Is there a known compatiblity problem between Win7 x64, Acronis True Image 2011, PefrectDisk 12 Home Server and Windows Home Server 2011?

Not that I know of, would be worth raising a support ticket so that Acronis can get itnot their database.

I just purchased Acronis TrueImage 2012 for the sole purpose of backing up to my Windows Home Server. When I go into the backup location (Browse) I don't see network attached drives as an option (which surprised me), nor do I see any method of browsing my network to manually locate my Windows Home Server. I'm quite baffled...does TrueImage 2012 simply not support network attached storage?

UPDATE: OK, so now I can see my network resources. Weird! I swear they weren't there before.

It may take some time for ATI to discover the network shares. Reported by other users.

I hope this isn't the beginning of the end of support for WHS2011. I bought it for WHS myself and I already run PerfectDisk 12 on my server but I am hesitant to even install ATH2012 because I can't find documentation relating to using it on the server. Did you just install ATH2012 straight on the server? It should be installed as an "Add-in" so that may be part of the problem.
