Invalid Data in the overview of backup jobs within ATIH 2012 - B5545 (German Version)

Thread needs solution

My ATIH 2012 Build 5545 - running under MS Windows 7- signals a wrong data for the backup jobs, listed in the "Backup and Recovery" window.

For instance for the backup job "F_Volume_C-D_West03_" the date of the last backup should be given under the point "Version: No. (letztes: dd.mm.yyyy)". But this is not the case. If you have more than one backup version stored, then only the date of the backup before the latest one is seen (24.09.2011 and not 03.11.2011) ! This seems to me buggy! Normally I expect here the date of the latest successfull backup run (03.11.2011).

For clarity the backup version number should be given as e.g. 5(16), which should mean full backup Nr. 5 and last incremental backup 16, actally only the total number of full+incremental backups are given, which is not informative.

I hope the Acronis people will take care of this in the next update version of ATIH 2012.

To see what I mean, two pictures files (W1.jpg, W2.jpg) are attached, one is a screen shot of the backup lists, the other is a file listing of the relevant backup files of the backup job "F_Volume_C-D_West03_".

If you run a backup you may need to close ati2012 and then resetart it for the latest backup to show.

You might need to delete the taks and create a new one. Running manual tasks can sometimes confuse the Ati database and it will treat the manual tasks as being from a separate task.

Obviously after updating of the ATI 2012 version to the latest build, the database may has been confused. Therefore after deleting all old manual backup tasks and reinstalling them, the mentioned date error in the status field are now vanished. Thanks Scott Hieber for the tip.
