I was wondering if someone could help me with this question. Is it possible to use an image created by True Image from one computer, to restore a hard drive on another "identical" computer? Thanks

Yes it can be done .... if True Image also thinks it is identical. The main item that must be identical is the video card. What OS is in the Image?

I just bought 2 identical Windows 7 laptops and was wondering if a backup image from 1 of them would work in the future on both of them

If you have the factory Restore Dvds try it now rather than when you've added a bunch of stuff on them. You may have to make your own Factory Restore DVDs as many makers don't physically provide them but do give you a way to make them.
