How can I backup and restore a dynamic disk?
I have ATI Home 2011 with the Plus Pack. I just built a new system that has 2 HDD in raid 0 that was assembled in Windows 7 using Computer Management. I can backup the raid array and ATI sees it as one drive during backup. When I try to restore it, ATI sees it as the two HDD that make up the array. Is there a way I can backup and restore this dynamic raid array?

I already have the Plus Pack with my ATIH 2011. Are you saying I need the 2012 version with the Plus Pack?

Sorry, I misread.
Whe you restore ati boots into linux and uses linux drivers, which apparently are able to prpeperly recognize your drives. You can try building an Bart or winPE disk, this would run ati recovery under windows using windows drivers, which, you already know, work.

Is this done within ATI, or do I have to make the disk on my own?

To produce a WinPE disk, follow the help instructions. It is pretty straightforward, but requires some download and manual process.

I created the WinPE disk. I then booted it up and ran ATIH and got the same results. That is, when using the "back up disks", ATIH sees the dynamic drive as one drive. When I try to restore the backup, ATIH sees the dynamic drive as the two original drives. Is there an answer for this question?

This is amazing since the PE disk runs windows and uses the same drivers that you use on your pc installation of windows. I supect one of the necessary drivers is missing in you PE build.

How do I go about finding the right driver, and how do I go about adding it to the WinPE boot disk?
