Not a great feeling about reliability
My complaints seem to be mostly user interface issues -- ATIH hangs, is slow, and does not show me enough detailed progress about what it's doing. I'm running on a new i7-2600 system, installed on an SSD.
+ Sync complains my subscription expired, even though I am syncing to a local hard drive
+ Asks me to login even though I will never intend on using ATIH to back-up 2TB of data online.
+ Sync does not start when you press the play button, although when I wake up in the morning all my files are on the second drive.
+ My latest backups hang for over an hour at 99% progress bar, "time left: calculating" - never get a good estimate. I believe it's just validating at that point.
+ Notification area is currently reporting 120% complete - I've seen this before in older versions.
+ No way to contact Acronis, unless you want to give them more money, or want to try for a refund.
I've resorted to doing very small single back-ups. I'm hoping Sync will work reliably, because at least then they aren't in one back-up file that may or may not be corrupted. The UI does not tell me if it ever deletes any files -- say if you delete some off the source, does it delete them off the destination: one way sync vs two way sync.
