Windows 7 doesn't show up in the OS selector
I used windows 7 to shrink the main partition on my hard drive then installed Windows XP on a new partition. I then installed DD/OS on the XP partition. My laptop will boot to XP but Windows 7 does not show up in the OS selector. I've tried the search for OS tool to no avail. How do I get Windows 7 back into the equation?
Thanks in Advance,
Clark

I created the new partition and loaded XP before I bought DD11 Home Update 2 (build 11.0.2343), so I did not know to hide the Windows 7 partition. I'm hoping that there is a way to restore the Windows 7 boot files. Is there a way to do this so that the files on the Win7 partition would still be reachable while running XP? Do I need to put them on a different drive than 7? I have attached a picture of the disk layout if that helps.

Make sure your DD CD includes the OSS programs (create a new CD if you need to).
If you have a Windows 7 installation DVD or System Repair Disc (this can be created using another Windows 7 system) you could boot to it, select to repair, and fix the boot sector. In this case, I would recommend not allowing it to do any automatic repairs (just cancel them). Go to the Command Prompt and run the following command: bootrec /fixboot
This will return the boot sector code of the Active partition to the Windows 7 standard. After the repair, reboot to OSS and see if OSS will detect Windows 7. OSS should save XP's files and still allow both systems to boot.
Otherwise, please attach the BOOTWIZ.OSS file so I can take a look at it (instructions can be found here).
