BuR10: C Partition is getting full with Temp files
Hi all.
i am using Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Build 13762.
My Client is a Windows 7 x64 with the Advanced Workstation Agent.
According to this KB Article (german):
19834: Acronis Backup & Recovery erstellt während des Snapshots eine temporäre Datei
the Temp Files which are created during the Backup Job are not getting automatically deleted,
so my System Partition is getting full and the User cannot work anymore.
Has anybody an idea to fix this?

Hi Colin,
thanks for your response. I know that I can manually remove the Temp files, but i can't tell my customer that he has to remove the Temp Folder every month, just because the BuR10 has a Bug or something else. Are here Acronis Support People in the Forum?

Manuel,
Sometimes if the temporary files are removed manually ABR10 fixes itself and will clear itself up.
Exactly how has your customer setup their tasks, is auto consolidation set up?
You mentioned a 'Temp Folder' is this the Windows user Temp folder or something different?
Has your customer given you a copy of their log file, task script and possibly the XMl file for the backup as these might give some clue as to what might be going wrong. It might also be possible to remove the temp entries from the task script. However, if it keeps making entries for all tasks, you might have to bite the bullet and delete the current tasks which will cleanse the database and remake them. I might be tempted to run a repair install of ABR10 after deleting the tasks.

auto consolidation is not set up.
I mean the Acronis *.tmp files which were created during the BackupJob and stored in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.
These files should be removed if the Backup job is done.
Tasks were created by me and the Log Files are all ok.
This is a completely new installation since I had some issues with the remote agent. (I couldn't access to my Backup Job, only the hourglass was working, no update help to fix this, so I install a new Backupmachine and BuR10 with the latest build)
Before this new installation (new Build number) the Backup works correctly.

Manuel, have you tried changing the size of the snapshot file from the Knowledge Base article that you refer to?
