Clean Install SSD/HDD XP Pro & SSD/HDD Win7 Pro

Thread needs solution

New computer. 2 SSDs & 2 HDDs -- one set per OS

I think I want to create an image of the 2 respective operating systems (on SSD) on a partition of the associated HDD for backup purposes. Is this a good product for this use? Is there a step-by-step resource to guide me through the process?

Yes, it is a good product to achieve what you want.

- Check this post: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/28705

- Make sure all the partitions of your SSD are included,
- Make sure you produce a recovery CD, boot your computer on it and restore a couple of files from your backups.

I have a SSD in my desktop and have restored several times (the restores were necessary because I goofed when installing some applications). I have a 180GB SSD of which 106 is free (my data stuff is on a physical drive). Full Backup or restore takes less than 20 minutes.
