ABR 11.5 restore from HP DAT72 USB Tape very slow
Dear support,
I'm using Bootable Media (both downloaded from website & created within software) to restore Windows OS from HP Dat72 usb Tape drive, but it is very slow. A 40GB partition take more than one day to completed. The speed is only under 500KB/s. This speed is not acceptable. This happened with all others Dat72 tape drives (we bought 10 boxs).
I also have another HP 920 SAS Tape drive, restore 200GB take only about 1 hour.
There is no issue when using windows application (management console install within windows) to restore entire disk.
Do you have any solution for this?
Many thanks,
Kien

I don't know why. It's working for me. You could try my MustangPEBuilder instead of the Acronis method. I have a MustangPE for ABR 11.5 plugin ready for testing.
First, download MustangPEBuilder (WAIK or ADK version depending on which is install on your system) from the link in my signature.
Second, download the AB&R 11.5 plugin at http://www.mechrest.com/plugins/MustangPEBuilder/Downloads/Files/ABR115… .
Follow the instructions in the readme.txt files for each download.
Any comments will be welcome.
EDIT Feb 19, 2014:
I've uploaded a new version of the AB&R 11.5 plugin. The new version can be used to build a 32 or 64 bit WinPE. The above instructions will build a 32 bit WinPE. To build a 64 bit WinPE, download the 64 bit version of MustangPE at http://forum.acronis.com/forum/54130 . In the Plugin.ini file you need to replace the line plugin3=TIHome2014\TIHome2014.exe with "plugin3=ABR115\ABR115.exe." You can also replace the "plugin1=32Bit\32Bit.exe" with "plugin1=", as you will have supplied the 64 bit version of the ABR WinPE files as per the instructions and don't need to add support for running 32 bit apps.
