Acronis installer error: files that the installer needs to remove ERROR

Hello,

the installation of the Acronis B&R 11.5 fails with the following error:

The following applications are using the files that the installer needs to remove. You can either close these applications and click Retry, or click Continue so that the installer continues the installation and replaces these files when your system restarts.

nipalsm.exe (PID 1036)
nipxism.exe (PID 3600)

The latter are two executables needed on the production machine which I cannot delete.

How can I go around this error? Why are those files creating problems to Acronis?

This is the list of executable files that locked some of B&R files that need to be replaced. If you continue, old files from previous version will remain until reboot, when thew will be replaced with updated ones, so it's recommended to reboot as soon as possible after upgrade. If you can stop and later restart processes/services to which these executables belong to, you can try it t oavoid rebooting.
