Acronis managed service not running after administrator password change

Dear All ,

this is my first post in this forums, if any mistake forgive me .

we have Acronis backup 11.5 , recently we restored our server because of virus attack . after that for security reason i have changed Administrator password.

after this acronis service not running , there is a red triangle in the system tray showing "acronis managed service not running"

please help me

If this account was selected to run Acronis Managed Machine service, its password has to be changed in service properties too.

Hi Rajasekaran K,

Please proceed the following way to change the password for Acronis Managed Machine service:

  • go to Services (Start -> Run -> Services) and find Acronis Managed Machine service;
  • rignt click on Acronis Managed Machine service -> Properties -> Log on;
  • specify the Administartors credentials anew
