Thread needs solution

Apparently post backup commands execute before (or while) replication to a 2nd location occurs (or starts). Is this correct and if so, can it be fixed/adjusted?

Yes, it works that way, though it may be inconvenient. Post-backup command executes before replication and/or validation.

That appears to be a change from earlier builds. In any case, can you add pre/post-replication commands. There is a long standing problem of suspending and resuming hibernation for/after B&R jobs that was 'solved' using pre/post backup commands. The current behavior with respect to replication undermines that solution. Better would be a fix similar to ATI (which I assume covers replication as well as backup?).

Hi Vernon,

Sequence of operations in a backup plan hasn't been changed recently. Here you can find additional information about Pre/Post commands and Before/After data capture commands.

I'll register your feedback and feature request in our customer listening system.

Thank you.

I only recently started using replication and so was not affected by this particular aspect of order of execution. Replication is a good idea, so I hope a solution comes quickly. Thanks.
