Build 38573 and Windows 10

Thread needs solution

A user upgraded his Windows 7 to Windows 10 without my knowledge over the weekend. [Darn those users! :-)]

His system has the older Build #38573 on it. The backups completed since the upgrade have only been c:\users\*. The Acronis tasks completed without errors. My weekly system backup won't run until Thursday (2 days from now)

Should there be any problems with those completed backups?

Do I need to upgrade to build #43994? I am reading that some people have had problems.

Hello B. Hata,

Thank you for your posting! Yes, please upgrade to 43994. The full support of Windows 10 was included starting with this build.

Thank you,

Would there be any reason to think that the backup incrementals created under build 38573 would not be OK?

Hello B. Hata,

You may want to validate the backups to make sure that they could be successfully restored.

Thank you,

I'll try validating the backup tonight.
