Can not remove backup plan

Thread needs solution

Hi,

for some time one computer was in a group which had a Backup plan named DA04. After some time we moved the computer in another hall and i changed the group (i erased it from the group DA04 corresponding to Backup plan DA04 and add it to DA02 corresponding to Backup plan DA02). I noticed that even though the computer is now only a member of DA02 (with backup plan DA02) when i click on it i get an information that there are two backup plans for the computer - DA04 and DA02. In machines with agents i looked once again in the DA04 group and it was empty. I checked the Backup plan for the computer and there is only one - DA02. But i am still getting the information that there are two plans for this computer. The funny thing is now when i try to add another computer to the DA04 group, the one from DA02 is automatically deleted from AMS. Has anyone had this problme before and how can i solve it? Thanks

Hello Bojan,

Thank you for your posting! I would recommend running AMS troubleshooting script with the parameter -fix on the machine where AMS is installed, it should eliminate inconsistencies in the AMS database. If the issue persists, could you please share detailed screenshots where the plan is shown and it's contents.

Thank you,

Hi Ekaterina,

First of all, thank you for your response. I have tried everything what you have suggested but the problem still remains. Here is a screenshot, i hope it would help you understand what really is the matter here and help me :) The VDEI-M1000722 should only be in DA01 Backup Plan and yet it shows that it is also a member of DA02 and DA04

Hello Bojan,

Thank you for provided information.
As I understand you deleted the backup plan, but you still see it when you navigate to machine with agent.

There is some possible causes of this issue:
1)    Large size of database, please see this kb https://kb.acronis.com/content/12857
2)    Synchronization between components. If the information is correct when you connected directly to the agent and incorrect when you look from AMS, in this case I advise you to delete the agent from AMS and re-add the machine. By this action we recreate the information about this agent in the console
3)    You can also try to delete the plan with Acronis Scheduler Manager

Again, for anyone experiencing this problem, I recommend contacting our support to get this resolved.
