Cannot view comments of back ups when trying to restore.

Thread needs solution

I am currently using Acronis backup and recovery 11.5 and am using the Linux based bootable media version to create images of a number of different workstations. I have been using the comments facility extensively in previous version to keep a track of different images and to ensure that the correct image is used. However in this new version the comments are not visable when navigating through to select my desired images.

My old images created in version 9 which also have comments are visable and work as they should do.

I have looked in the XML file that is created alongside the backup and can see where the comments should go (Under Description) and have successfully viewed data In the comments field in Acronis once populating the xml file with the required comments post image creation.

It seems that the program cannot populate this field on its own.

Is this the only way to record comments.

Any help or answers greatly appreciated.

This issue (Archives created in bootable media has no comments) was reported in version 11 and was fixed in build 17438. What build of 11.5 do you use now?
