delay between Backing up disk and Replicating backup

We have a backup job that is configured to replicate to a 2nd location. The initial backup is to a share on a NAS and the 2nd location is Acronis Backup for AnyServer to Cloud. Between the completion of the backup to the NAS and the start of the replication to the cloud, we see a delay of anywhere from 0:50:00 to 1:10:00.
I cannot see anywhere where we have defined a delay between the two backups steps. Ideally we'd like the replication to start as soon after the completion of the backup to the NAS as possible.
Is there a setting we can adjust to shrink or eliminate this delay?
