File in MMS\TasksStorage on backed up computer does not exist

Thread needs solution

Hello people,

I'm deploying Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Advanced Workstation agents on client systems and everything works fine except for one of them which displays a lot (~80) of warning messages each time a backup occurs and 2 errors. The strange thing is the backup is validated successfully !
Please find the log entry below :

The specified file does not exist.
Additional info:
--------------------
Error code: 17
Module: 4
LineInfo: f35f747b3b21f7f7
Fields: function : OpenFileW, filename : \\?\C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\TasksStorage\EDBD2A74-4099-4E3E-A48C-0298B0E05548, $module : mms_vs_32308
Message: The specified file does not exist.

Error code: 65520
Module: 0
LineInfo: bd28fdbd64edb8e0
Fields: code : 2147942402, $module : mms_vs_32308
Message: The system cannot find the file specified
--------------------

I obviously checked myself and the file does not exist.
I would have several questions about that :
- what are these files in the TasksStorage folder ?
- what could be the cause of this file missing ?
- what can I do to solve that ?

We are in a critical environment in which I can't do usual troubleshooting (test this and that). Also, I can't reproduce this error in my lab.

Thanks a lot for your help :)

The backup is most likely not created in this case, and what is validated successfully is older backup(s). If it's a standalone backup plan, recreating it (i.e. editing it and changing some parameter like schedule a bit and saving it) should help. Most common cause of this is antivirus software that interferes with Acronis here (like http://kb.acronis.com/content/11946 ) . The solution in this case is add Acronis folders to antivirus exclusions as described in kb.acronis.com/content/36429‎ .

Hello,

thanks for the answer.
The backup plan update did not change anything, the file is still missing. I'll try recreating it asap and will post an update.
