How to remove "marked for deletion" flag from an archive

Thread needs solution

Iv recently had to create a new AMLS server due to database corruption in my previous one, so all vaults and their storage nodes have been removed and re-added to my new AMLS.

I have a vault (managed) with a particular archive (amongst many others in that vault) that requires restoring from the 1st October, I have a full backup from this time but it is marked for deletion and i cannot find a way of removing this flag so it can be restored.

I have read a potential fix on one thread stating the following:

You can manually edit a related to this archive .xml file if you use a personal vault. Therefore please open it with text editor, find "marked for deletion" flag and change its value to "0".

However it doesnt actually state the location of this xml file, or if this workaround will work on a managed vault? would this be on the storage node itself somewhere?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Just a note, i have also been onto the Storage node that this archive is pointing to, have looked at our F: drive location where the vault is pointing to, however the folders contained in this location is just meta data, TIB files and catalgue information, no XML files, nor am i able to locate the exact folders that this particular archive points to as the naming convention does not match that of the archive name but instead just folders with hex decimal style folder names. So no real help there unfortunately.

I have also attempted to export the entire archive to another location, however this only appears to copy the TIB files of the archives that are not currently marked for deletion.

Running out of ideas here unless theres a database way of removing this.....

Hello Terry,

Thank you for your posting! Please use the following article to find the needed backup archive in the managed vault and manually copy it to the different folder. In the software specify the path to this folder as the recovery source and click on "Refresh".

Thank you,
