Upgrade form W7 to W10 - Acronis Backup hang on backup task
Hi, I recently upgraded a workstation running Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Acronis Backup worked fine until the day before the upgrade.
Since the upgrade it hangs on every backup task at 20%.
The backup task is configured to save the files to a folder available in a NAS.
It seems that Acronis Backup fails to access the destination folder (NAS log shows a lot of SAMBA authentication fails by Acronis Agent User).
Acronis Backup is upgraded to the last build and I tried di reinstall it many times so far.

I upgraded win7 x64 to win10 and "Acronis Managed Machine Service is unavailable" and an attempt to start that service fails with "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."

Hi all,
the solution for '"Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."' is to remove 'protected storage' from 'Acronis Managed Machine Service' service dependencies - http://forum.acronis.com/forum/36870#comment-118444
This service is not added to dependencies when Acronis Backup is installed on Windows 8 and above, but is it is installed before, upgrade causes this error.

One other suggestion, Windows 10 has known issues with DNS disconnects. Try using IP's instead of names, or add an entry into your lmhosts file to resolve the local NAS IP.
