11.5 Hyper-V backups Fail at 15% - Fresh Install

Thread needs solution

This is a fresh install on 2008 R2 Server with Hyper-V. Trying to backup one VM. Have tried to backup to both an external USB HD and to shared storage with unc path. I've tried using all VSS backup options. Each time I get the same error.

After working with an acronis tech we discovered VSS was erroring out. So based on the errors I found this Acronis Forum Post.
http://forum.acronis.com/forum/4429
After deleting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\VSS\Providers\{f782463b-33bb-4043-ad8d-60b728d26a6c}, and using System Software for VSS in the backup properties, everything started working.

The above solution did not work for me, just to clarify, the reg key you delete is for "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0." ?
